DIY copper tube

This is easy, made with natural elements (mainly copper pipe fitting), no need of many tools and I think it looks pretty cool!!!

Go to your closest plumbing shop, tools shop or home repair shop and start the fun.

Es muy muy fácil, el resultado encaja en cualquier tipo de deco y queda súpernatural ( sólo se necesitan conexiones de cobre que se pueden comprar en cualquier ferretería), no necesitas herramientas sofisticadas y queda de maravilla!

All you need is:
- quick cement
- copper tube in 30 cm and 20 cm
- a straight piece as copper tube connection
- one 45° piece of copper tube connection
- a cable with a plug
- a light fixture (mine has a toggle switch included which is quite handy)
- a light bulb
- an old ice-cream box (empty, of course but I’m sure that’s not a problem for you)
- a drill
- a screw driver (to build the light fixture)

   Welcome to the first post of a project that I was thinking to create already long time ago, but that I was snoozing for few years.

   For this first time, I wanted to talk about something very special I discovered few days ago and that made me to fall in love at the first view. Not only because it reminds me to my childhood, but because the style of the author is so charming that I would grab a scissors and would start right now.

   Anto, The author, is showing it in her blog STARDUSTSOUL and she is showing not only how talented she is, but we can download it for free and she is creating new outfits every week!!! and for free!! I love this idea! You can download it here.

   Bienvenidos a la primera entrada de un proyecto que llevo mucho tiempo soñando con emprender. Pero que por falta de tiempo e iniciativa llevo años posponiendo.

   En esta primera ocasión quería hablaros de algo que descubrí hace unos días y me enamoró a primera vista, ya que no sólo me recuerda a mi niñez, sino que su estilo me resulta tan cautivador que incluso hoy en día me pondría manos a la obra ahora mismo.... de hecho tardaré poco en hacerlo!

   Se trata de uno de los fantásticos trabajos de la ilustradora Anto. Son "muñecas" recortables ilustradas por ella misma que ha publicado en su lovely blog stardustsoul. No sólo son una gozada sus dibujos en los que refleja un dulce y peculiar realismo en trazo y destreza artística, sino que además son divertidísimos y no necesitas ir de shopping para estar a la última.

   Lo mejor de todo es que ella deja el link para poder descargar los recortables ¡gratis! ¡y cada semana va sacando ropa nueva! ¡me encanta la idea!.
